Easter

Easter was fun! The girls' baskets were hidden outside and it was cold! They had fun finding their baskets but were excited to get back inside and get warm. We had a family "picnic" at the community center because it was raining and cold. It was fun to see everyone, I love getting together with family!

Kaymee's 4-H project!

Kaymee is old enough to do a lamb! I am so excited! She will be a mini and I am hoping she loves it as much as I did. She is really excited and gets up every morning and feeds it and she is so excited to take it on walks. She was so good and worked really hard helping Nathan build a pen for it.

Kaymee's 6th Birthday!!

For Christmas, we got Nathan's little brother tickets to a Jazz game. When I saw that there was a game the day before Kaymee's birthday, I knew that was the one to go to! We took our family and Nathan's family to the Jazz game (the girls were ready to go after half an hour), the next day we went to the zoo, then that evening we went to Chuck E. Cheese's!! It was so much fun and Kaymee got spoiled for her birthday! The pictures from the Jazz game are on my phone and I didn't take any pictures at Chuck E. Cheese's. Kaymee however, spent 99% of her tokens taking pictures with Chuck E. Cheese (weird kid! LOL). We ended up with like 20 pictures of her in the car with Chuck E. Cheese. :) Gotta love her! We also bought a little car for commuting while we were up there and that picture is on my phone also and I am too lazy to go take a picture of it. So here are some pictures from our trip to the zoo!

The Rash

Shaydin woke up with this rash yesterday so I took her into the doctor and he thinks it is a bacterial infection that is irritating her skin. It is much worse today it is covering most of her body. She is taking some antibiotics and hopefully it goes away soon!

Shaydin's 2nd Birthday!!

Yes, this is late but that's the story of my life. :) Shaydin had a great birthday and she acts just like a two year old. She is the most stubborn child I have ever met, but I love her so much! She is such a little clown she is always making us laugh! We love you Shaydin!!

Oh yeah, and she has the cutest curly hair I have ever seen!

Starting fresh (a month and a half late)...

I was planning on doing better at blogging starting at the first of the year and that has now come and gone. My classes are a little crazy right now and I am starting to feel like this:

stock photo : Student buried in homework (looking at the books with fear)

All three girls were sick all last week and it was a whole week of late (sleepless for me) nights. I was alternating Ibuprofen and Tylenol with each kid every three hours just to keep the fevers under control and all three wanted to be held all day and my lap just isn't big enough, but we made it work! It was a mess! The fevers are gone, the coughs however are not! Hopefully they go away soon!

I have to brag about Kaymee for a minute! Yesterday we went to her SEP meeting and met with Mrs. Thayn and Kaymee is doing GREAT in school! All her scores are good and she has read to the moon 5 times!! For Kindergarten, reading to the moon is approximately 150 15-page books which means Kaymee has read over 11,000 pages!! Yes, most of those pages I read to her but she is reading very well and loves to read to herself and her sisters! Way to go Kaymee!

That's all for now but I promise I will do better!

Black eyes, loose teeth, wildlife & a Christmas tree!

Poor Braylee ran into our wooden rocking horse that I have had since I was little, my grandpa and great uncle made it for me! :o) She yelled at me for leaving it in the way. Sorry, Braylee I didn't mean to, it's been in the same spot for months now. :o) I was really shocked to see a couple days later that she had a black eye.

Kaymee lost her first tooth on December 9th. Or should I say I pulled it out on the 9th. It had been loose for a while and it was driving both of us crazy. She cried the first night it was loose because it wouldn't come out.

This is the nice buck we saw while we were out getting our Christmas tree. I sure wish I would have seen it during hunting season though.

Here are the girls dragging their Christmas tree. I didn't get a picture of the tree we actually got for our family. I am really picky and after getting out and hiking to 20 different trees and thinking they were the one and taking pictures of them and then not liking them, I decided to give up. We finally found a decent tree after almost three hours of looking. :o) We had a really good time, I love going as a family to get the Christmas tree! It is one of my favorite memories from when I was younger.
