Halloween!

Our Halloween was pretty eventful and fun! I was helping with the PTO Halloween Carnival out here, so I was busy. Nathan came up a few minutes after me (he had to get some card tables from my Mom's for me) and he had Shaydin. He was headed out the door at my mom's (carrying two card tables) and Shaydin was ahead of him. She started to fall down the stairs so he grabbed her arm and she started crying. He brought her up to the carnival and she wouldn't even move her arm, so we had some people look at it, and it didn't seem broke, so Nathan just had to hold her all night. By the end of the night, she was using it a little bit, she just wouldn't let you touch it and it hurt her to bend it or straighten it. The next day I had to go clean up and she acted fine except for when she tried to use her arm, so I decided we better take her in to have it looked at. We took her to the ER and she had to have X-rays. She SCREAMED the whole time we were doing them, poor thing. Our regular Dr was on call, so that was good. He said he couldn't see a break, but there was alot of blood and fluid in her elbow joint, so most likely it got dislocated then went back in. So they wrapped it and told us to put ice on it and to come back in a couple days if it was still hurting her. That ACE bandage helped so much, she was a total different person with it on, and she could move her arm without hurting her elbow. We decided since we were going to be in Monticello, we might as well take the girls trick or treating. So we got them all dressed up again, which was good because I was too busy at the Carnival to get any pictures, plus Shaydin wasn't in her costume because her arm hurt. But we got these cute pictures of them in their costumes and they had a BLAST trick or treating in town!
